| Government helps you convert to LPGAustralian Prime Minister John Howard has announced that his government will provide car owners up to $2000 if they decide to convert their vehicles to LPG from August 14 2006.
Sighting the unrest caused by ballooning fuel prices, the Federal Government has decided it will provide motorists a $2000 grant to convert their vehicle to LPG, while those buying new LPG-run vehicles will receive $1000.
LPG is a decidedly cheaper way to run one’s vehicle with the average price per litre being half that of Regular Unleaded petrol.
